Faces & Places Along the Road

Our road trip from Casablanca was by freeway, which isn’t free, but there were many miles covered on local roads. Here are some people I encountered on our journey:

At a rest stop

AND WE REACH OUR HOTEL AND THE BLUE VILLAGE OF CHEFCHAOUEN

Time to get up! We will explore the village more and go to a farm for lunch

Welcome to Morocco!

  1. Two children on donkey with mom walking reminds me of “Flight into Egypt” paintings of Jesus done by many masters.
The average-size woman riding that teeny donkey is pathetic, and cruel!
Pictures of the charming buildings, blue sky, and plazas are wonderful.

  2. Karen, your outstanding photography captures the daily life of rural Morocco. The donkey and the agrarian community have survived for centuries. In contrast, our industrialized community appears to be shaky.
